This Silvertone Ciborium with Inner Chalice is Nickel / Chrome plated from the outside and 24 carat Gold plated from the inside. The Ciborium stands 8 inch (19 cm) tall and has a fluid capacity of 20.5 US fluid ounce/ 650 ml. The Ciborium is made of 100% Pure Brass and the base metal and is Nickel & Chrome electro-plated from the outside (40-60 microns). The inside of the Cup is electro-plated with Silver (SI) and then 24 Carat Gold (60-80 microns). The gold used for plating is 24 carat bank gold coin with 99.995 purity and not any cheap industrial gold. The base of the Cibroium is not left hollow and is covered with a base plate. The Ciborium comes with a tight fitting lid. The inner chalice has a capacity of 30 ml and is fully 24K Gold Plated.
