This set consists of a Cope and Stole. The material of the garments is made of Church Damask fabric with Cross designs and the Orphreys are made of high quality polyester fabric with cross designs.
- Height of the Cope: 54 inches (138 cm) from neck to bottom (62 inches from shoulder to bottom)
- Stole: 54 inches from shoulder to bottom (108 inches from end to end)
LINING: The Copes is available as lined and unlined.
- LINED: The interior of the cope is lined with matching Satin Fabric. The lining makes the cope a bit heavier and is recommended in Cold Climate areas or where the service is held in closed air-conditioned areas.
- UNLINED: There is no lining for the cope and this makes the cope lighter compared to the lined ones. This is best recommended in warm - hot climatic areas.
Cope: (known in Latin as pluviale (rain coat) or cappa (cape)) is a liturgical vestment, more precisely a long mantle or cloak, open in front and fastened at the breast with a band or clasp. It may be of any liturgical colour. (source: www.newadvent.org)
